Flinders Orientation

The best way to start your University experience is by attending Flinders Orientation. In 2020 Orientation will start with O’Week from Monday 24 February to Friday 28 February and will continue through the first four weeks of semester with a range of activities to help you prepare for study and life at Flinders. There will be loads going on around campus including events, free food, entertainment, and more. You’re encouraged to attend as many events as possible.

Plan your orientation using the planner below. Enter your Flinders Authentication Name (FAN) and download your personalised planner as a .cal or PDF file to go in the draw to win one of five double passes to O’Fiesta or one of five $25 Mastercard gift cards. Welcome Hub

Open daily, 10am – 2pm

During O’Week and the first four weeks of semester 1, come and drop in to the Welcome Hub.  Here you can meet our friendly staff and student ambassadors and find out about all that Flinders University offers to support you throughout your time at Uni.  The Welcome Hub is open daily from 10am – 2pm on Level 0 of the Student Hub throughout O’Week and the first four weeks of Semester 1 (Connect Week, Skills Week, Cultural Week and Wellbeing Week).  We look forward to seeing you!

Meet and Greet Space

Open daily, 12pm – 2pm

Don’t know anyone? Don’t worry!  Stop by the Meet and Greet Space and say hi!  Shy? Anxious? Or just fancy a chat? We get you; we’ve all been there before.  This is a space run by students, for students.  The Meet and Greet Space is open daily from 12pm – 2pm on Level 0 of the Student Hub throughout  the first four weeks of Semester 1 (Connect Week, Skills Week, Cultural Week and Wellbeing Week).  Free snacks and games included.
